Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions ("Agreement") govern all bartending and liquid catering services provided by Grateful Sips and Spirits ("Company," "we," "us," "our") to the Client ("you," "your"). By booking services, submitting a deposit, or signing an agreement, you acknowledge and agree to these Terms and Conditions.
1. Services Provided
We provide professional dry hire bartending services only, which include setup, beverage service, breakdown, and cleanup of the bar area as outlined in your booking agreement or invoice. Alcohol, beverages, and supplies are provided by the Client unless otherwise stated in writing.
2. Booking & Payment
- A non-refundable deposit of 50% is required to secure your event date.
- The remaining balance is due 7 days prior to the event unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- Events booked within 7 days of the event date require full payment at the time of booking.
- We reserve the right to refuse service if payment is not received in full by the due date.
3. Cancellations & Refunds
- The deposit is non-refundable under all circumstances.
- Cancellations made 30 days or more before the event may be eligible for a partial refund of amounts paid beyond the deposit.
- Cancellations within 30 days of the event are non-refundable.
- In the rare event that the Company must cancel due to emergency or unforeseen circumstances, all payments will be refunded in full.
4. Guest Count & Event Changes
- Final guest count is due 7 days prior to the event.
- Increases in guest count may result in additional charges and/or staff.
- Significant changes to event time, location, or scope must be approved by the Company and may affect pricing.
5. Alcohol Responsibility & Legal Compliance
- Client is responsible for ensuring all alcohol is legally purchased and transported.
- The Company and its staff reserve the right to refuse service to any guest who appears intoxicated, underage, or disruptive.
- Valid government-issued ID is required for alcohol service.
- The Company follows all local and state laws regarding alcohol service.
- Client assumes full responsibility for the conduct and safety of their guests.
6. Permits & Licenses
- Client is responsible for obtaining any required permits, permissions, or approvals for alcohol service at the event location unless otherwise stated in writing.
- The Company can assist with guidance but is not responsible for venue compliance.
7. Venue Requirements
- Client must ensure the venue allows outside bartending services.
- A safe, accessible bar area must be provided.
- The venue must provide adequate lighting, power (if needed), and access to water.
- Any additional venue requirements (insurance certificates, vendor forms, etc.) must be communicated at least 7 days before the event.
8. Overtime
- Service time begins at the scheduled start time, not guest arrival.
- Overtime is billed at $100 per hour per bartender, charged in 30-minute increments.
- Overtime must be approved by the Client or designated representative at the event.
9. Damages & Liability
- Client is financially responsible for any damage to Company equipment caused by guests, vendors, or venue staff.
- The Company is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal items belonging to the Client or guests.
- The Company is not liable for injuries, accidents, or incidents resulting from guest behavior or alcohol consumption.
10. Safety & Working Conditions
- The Company reserves the right to end service immediately if staff feel unsafe, threatened, or if conditions are hazardous.
- No refunds will be issued if service is stopped due to unsafe conditions, aggressive behavior, or illegal activity.
11. Weather & Outdoor Events
- For outdoor events, Client must provide adequate shelter (tent, umbrella, etc.) to protect staff and equipment from sun, wind, or rain.
- Extreme weather conditions may result in service adjustments or early termination for safety reasons.
12. Force Majeure
The Company is not liable for failure to perform due to events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, government restrictions, power outages, or acts of God.
13. Marketing & Photography
- The Company may take photos or videos of the bar setup for marketing purposes unless Client requests otherwise in writing.
- No guest faces will be used without consent.
14. Gratuity
- Gratuity is not included unless specified in your agreement.
- Guests may tip bartenders at their discretion.
15. Indemnification
Client agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Company, its owners, employees, and contractors from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from the event, including alcohol-related incidents.
16. Governing Law
This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the state in which the event takes place.
17. Acceptance
By booking services with Grateful Sips and Spirits, Client acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and Conditions.
